Jersey City Lift Installation Anything but Routine

For Hoffman Services, installing vehicle lifts is routine business. They deal in a wide variety of stationary and portable heavy duty vehicle lifts every day. But one in particular involved a high tech partner not usually associated with heavy duty lifts, Infrared Imaging Services LLC of New York.

Hoffman Services was contracted to install 8 Twin Post lifts above flooring with radiant tubes. The lifts had to be installed in the radiant floor without damaging any of the tubes. Enter the certified thermographers from Infrared Imaging Services LLC. They took infrared pictures of the radiant floor which showed exactly where the tubing had been installed, and were then able to indicate where the lifts could be safely installed.

With the two companies working together, the client got the lifts they needed without risking damage to the existing radiant floor. Hoffman was able to install 112 concrete wedge anchors without hitting or damaging any of the water lines.

Check out the images below to see the comparison between the infrared images showing the radiant tubing, and the daytime images of the lifts installed on the concrete floor. A successful install thanks to some out of the box thinking!
