Stertil-Koni Introduces Low Profile Adapter for Lifting Light Duty Vehicles with Two Mobile Columns – Delivering Wheels-Free Access
Stevensville, MD, August 24, 2016 — Heavy-duty vehicle lift leader Stertil-Koni has just introduced a new ALI certified, low profile light truck adapter specifically engineered for a broad range of light duty vehicles with minimal ground clearance, including pickup trucks, SUVs and vans.
Here’s what’s really special: The new Stertil-Koni light truck adapter has a wide reach and a very short standing height, allowing it to fit under a greater range of vehicles, thereby overcoming the inherent limitations of many existing adapters. “What’s more,” noted Peter Bowers, technical sales manager for Stertil-Koni, “height extensions and pads can be added to the adapter to suit various vehicle heights. These features make the adapter well suited for passenger cars, pickup trucks and non-revenue fleets, among others.”
Because the adapter can easily be attached to existing mobile columns, maintenance shops can significantly increase the range of vehicles they are able to service without making a major investment or having to buy new vehicle lifts. Each adapter has a capacity of 5,500 lbs. or 11,000 lbs. per pair.
